Topsoil
Topsoil is high-quality black soil used for seeding grass, installing sod, planting trees or shrubs, creating flower beds, surrounding tree trunks, filling holes in your lawn, and more.
Garden or Planting Topsoil
This type of topsoil is exclusively used for planting vegetables, herbs, or transplanting flowers or other plants (perennials, annuals, and small shrubs). It's recommended to add nitrogen-rich organic fertilizer before seeding. This type of bulk soil is not recommended for topdressing lawns. Our team can turn over your garden's current soil before adding bulk soil.
For laying sod, it's recommended to use 4 to 6 inches of soil as a base. We can assist you in calculating the amount of bulk soil you'll need.
Bulk Lawn Soil
We sell and deliver screened 1-time lawn soil, screened 2-time lawn soil, and lawn soil enriched with compost. Screened 1-time lawn soil is perfect for seeding or serving as a base for sod, but it's not suitable for topdressing lawns. Screened 2-time lawn soil contains fewer small rocks. It's used for seeding or laying sod but should not be used for topdressing lawns.
Bulk Compost
In addition to bulk soil, we can also provide you with bulk compost. Shrimp compost serves as a natural fertilizer as it provides a source of nutrition for vegetable gardens, tree and shrub planting, flower beds, and lawns.
Vegetable compost complements or replaces garden topsoil and provides all the essential nutrients for growing vegetables and plants while better protecting them from pests. Vegetable compost can be used for seeding grass (it retains water, reducing the need for frequent watering).
Cow manure is rich in nutrients (nitrogen and phosphate) that help roots grow and flowers bloom, and improve vegetable garden productivity. It nourishes lawns well.
